EURC is a euro stablecoin from Circle, the issuer of USDC, fully backed by euro reserves held with regulated European institutions. It is one of the few euro stablecoins with meaningful liquidity, giving traders a way to hold and settle in euros on-chain without routing through dollars first. EURC is a euro-denominated stablecoin from the issuer of USDC, backed by euro reserves held in European banks and issued under European regulation. It matters for a reason that is easy to miss on a dollar-dominated map: almost all on-chain liquidity is dollar-denominated, so European users and businesses take currency risk simply by transacting on-chain.
